Leadership Summit -2012, a glittering function was organized on 19th September, 2012 at Taj Palace, New Delhi by ''Agriculture Today'' and Dr. MH Mehta (former Vice Chancellor of Gujarat Agricultural University and currently the Chairman of The Science Ashram and Gujarat Life Sciences (P) Ltd.) was presented Lifetime Achievement Award by the Minister of State for Agriculture, Govt. of India - Mr. Harish Rawat in presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh - Shri Prem Kumar Dhumal and other national / international dignitaries.
The lifetime achievement in agriculture for contribution in research, industry and education instituted since 2006. The earlier recipients of this Leadership Award were Dr. MS Swaminathan, Dr. Kidwai, Dr. Kurien, Mr. Balram Jakhad, etc. Dr. Mehta also gave oration on ‘The Coming Eco Agriculture Revolution ‘.
